Tony Brown is a musician, songwriter, vocalist, artist, performer and a music producer and arranger. He has dedicated his life to sharing the message of quality performance, quality song composition and quality performance presentation throughout his musical history. Tony has performed in Europe, Africa, North and South America, Central America and The Caribbean. Tony identifies himself as a citizen of the world. Tony takes great honor in the opportunity to stand before people to share with them the rich cultural value of music and the diversity within music. Tony has received international, national, regional and local awards and accolades for his music, performances, and songwriting.
Tony’s LIVE SOLO performances encompass a wide range of styles from old school Blues through R&B, Soul, Ska, Reggae, Jazz, Rock, Folk, Funk and Latin flavors, while his “original” band presentation focuses on Reggae and World music. Tony has organize other band units that perform R&B, Soul, Funk and Blues these bands combine some of the best local and regional musicians, collaborated to reproduce the energy and liveliness of these styles of dance music. All the different musical forms are part of one expression, Tony Brown music.
Tony also takes great pleasure in mentoring young and up and coming musicians on at all levels of their development. Tony works with other musicians in collaborating on songwriting and assisting in developing professional performance quality. On the educational level, Tony is very comfortable presenting music and ethnic educational presentations for all ages and academic levels of students in a class setting.
